Undergraduate Dissertation
A labour of love! My undergraduate dissertation entitled '(T)he poor book is in its chrysalis state': Female Slave Literacy and Intertextual Metamorphosis in the Antebellum Slave Narrative and Neo-slave Narrative' was fascinating to research and write over the course of just under a year. I was delighted to achieve a score of 78 and could not have asked for a more wonderful supervisor, Professor Carl Plasa, who was a supportive and thoughtful mentor throughout my undergraduate degree.
